For marketing sites we build in Framer. For tools and prototypes we write code. The line between them is clearer than you think.

Most marketing websites are not software. They are living documents that a team needs to edit on a Tuesday afternoon without calling an agency.
Our rule of thumb
That is why our default is Framer: it gives designers pixel control, gives marketers a real CMS and gives everyone a site that is fast out of the box.
We still write code — for configurators, dashboards and anything with state. The rule is simple: if it is content, it lives in Framer; if it is a product, it lives in a repo.
